Yes I agree with you, if I must believe in a concept of 'God', it would be that the divine is in everything and anything, in the very fabric of reality. The first law of thermodynamics is that no energy is destroyed or created in a close system, it just changes form. The universe is a closed system (as far as we know) and perhaps 'God' is all the energy flowing within the system, or the system itself.
